His research interests concern comparative welfare systems and political economy, particularly social and labour policies. In particular, his research project concerns the social policy trajectories of European welfare states to mitigate the adverse effects of technological change on workers.

She is a PhD candidate in Political Studies at the University of Milan (NASP doctoral program). Her research focuses on the influence of interest groups on Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) reforms.
